Its lightweight design allows for efficient transport, and the electric over hydraulic joystick provides greater multifunction capability. The SkyTrak 6042 also includes a standard LED Motion/Amber Beacon with ClearSky Smart Fleet Connectivity Hardware. A multifunctional, electric over hydraulic joystick includes auxiliary hydraulic functions and attachment tilt capabilities, single-handedly elevating job site efficiency. The JLG 6042 features a maximum lift capacity of 6,000 pounds (2,722 kg) and a maximum lift height of approximately 42 feet 4 inches. The telescopic boom provides a maximum forward reach of approximately 29 feet 6 inches, allowing operators to place pallets, building materials, trusses, and equipment in locations that would be difficult to access with a conventional forklift. At maximum reach, the machine can safely handle approximately 1,200–1,400 pounds, depending on configuration and operating conditions.
