The Tadano AS-42C Telescopic Crawler Boom delivers outstanding reach, stability, and lifting performance for demanding aerial work applications. Designed for contractors who require reliable access in challenging environments, this mid-range telescopic crawler boom provides impressive height and outreach while maintaining excellent maneuverability on a variety of job sites.
With a maximum working height of 48 ft and horizontal outreach of 36 ft 9 in, the AS-42C allows operators to safely reach elevated work areas that are difficult to access with traditional lifts. Its telescopic boom with 39 ft 7 in extension provides strong straight-line reach, while the dual-capacity platform system (990 lb / 550 lb) offers the flexibility to handle heavier tools, materials, and multiple operators when needed.
Powered by a dependable Kubota D1305 Diesel Engine, the AS-42C combines reliable power with fuel efficiency. The machine’s crawler track system features steel tracks with grey non-marking pads, providing excellent traction and stability while maintaining low ground pressure for use on a variety of surfaces.
A 360° rotating superstructure and 90° platform rotation in both directions allow operators to precisely position the platform for work at height. With compact transport dimensions and a 6 ft 4 in outside turning radius, the AS-42C remains easy to maneuver and transport despite its extended reach capabilities.
