TelematicsPlus: All Of Your Telematics Providers In A Single Portal

    Posted On: June 9, 2020

The value of telematics lies in the technology’s ability to provide machine data in real time, from locating equipment on demand to monitoring performance and accessing utilization records, such as fuel use and engine idle time. And while there is power in this knowledge, it’s difficult for decision makers to gain insights and make actionable fleet allocations when they must visit different web-based platforms for each brand of equipment present in their fleets. The new TelematicsPlus portal from Machinery Trader empowers fleet managers, operators, and rental companies to view and manage mixed-fleet telematics data—at no cost—from one portal in the Sandhills Cloud.

Manage Your Entire Fleet From One Portal

The TelematicsPlus portal is built around an intuitive dashboard that truly eliminates the need for contractors and rental yards to visit multiple brand portals to gain telematics insights. For example, the location of all your telematics-equipped machines are instantly available across the United States, with detailed local views just a click away. Mangers can also drill down to view specific regions or equipment to get a more detailed perspective—down to jobsite-specific assets where you can instantly view the stock, year, make, and model of machines at work. With machine data easily accessible and searchable, TelematicsPlus lets fleet managers be more strategic about when and where it makes the most sense to deploy each asset.

    Asset Geo-Fencing

Looking to track, measure, and manage equipment on a specific jobsite? Operators can set their own custom parameters and alerts for fleet assets jobsite by jobsite. Managers can receive real-time notifications when machines are operating outside of those custom parameters. Diagnostics reports also arrive straight from the telematics provider, so mangers can view machine status on demand. Just a few key diagnostics insights include idle time vs. work time, fuel usage, and ignition on/off. Asset information ties into the Inventory Management tool in the Sandhills Cloud, so machine location and hours instantly update across your fleet. For record-keeping, managers can view a detailed history of diagnostics codes and alerts.

    Integrated Values

FleetEvaluator provides real-time, real-world equipment values using $6 billion in transactional, listing, asset, and market data per month from equipment sales all around the world, as well as fine-tuned analytics to account for factors that directly and indirectly swing an asset’s value, such as the equipment’s location. TelematicsPlus integrates with FleetEvaluator to provide managers with rolling market and auction values (updated every 15 minutes) for the fleet, including the total value of your fleet and the individual assets within. A real-time market value for the entire fleet is always displayed at the top of the TelematicsPlus dashboard.

    Reporting Designed For Decision Makers

TelematicsPlus is built to help fleet managers more easily make strategic decisions about their equipment. Whether that’s identifying underutilized machines, monitoring machine performance, or simply tracking the location of equipment in your mixed fleet, TelematicsPlus’ seamless integration removes the barriers of managing equipment across multiple telematics sources, so you can make the fullest use of your operation’s machines. Contact your Sandhills rep for more information and to get set up with TelematicsPlus.
