Clark Launches Three New OSQ Order Pickers
Clark Material Handling has debuted its new line of Order Selector Quick Pick lifts, or “OSQ” for short. The new order picker forklifts raise the operator and a front and/or rear load for first- and second-floor shelf picking, as well as general overhead maintenance.
Clark says that the new OSQ order pickers are an outstanding alternative to rolling ladders and step ladders in manufacturing and warehousing applications. They’re also useful for narrow-aisle scenarios with combined shipping and receiving operations, the company says.
"From ergonomic fingertip controls and a roomy operator compartment, to the heavy-duty I-beam mast design and the three-point chassis design, this new product continues the Clark tradition of bringing the latest and most innovative solutions to the material handling sector," says Clark Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Scott Johnson.
Lift Heights & Capacities
The OSQ lifts’ model numbers denote their respective 126-, 162-, and 192-inch (3.2-, 4.1-, and 4.9-meter) lift heights, denoting the distance between the operator’s feet and the ground at full extension. Each uses a triple-stage mast.
The OSQ126 working-platform vehicle can raise a combined weight of 1,000 pounds (454 kilograms) with its operator compartment, front work platform, and hide-away rear tray. The OSQ162 can lift 650 combined pounds (295 kilograms) up to the 126-inch mark, and 450 pounds (204 kilograms) beyond that. Finally, the high-reach OSQ192 can handle 600 pounds (272 kilograms) to 126 inches (3.2 meters) and 400 pounds (181 kilograms) to greater heights.
OSQs In Motion
The OSQ is powered by a 24-volt, brushless AC motor and an industrial, maintenance-free battery pack. With ergonomic fingertip control of its electronic power steering, and the drive motor’s 180-degree steering arc, the user can turn the OSQ126 and OSQ162 lifts in as little as six feet (1.8 meters).
Travel speeds range up to 3.4 mph (5.5 km/h), with an optional high-speed feature good for up to 5 mph (8 km/h). The OSQ also has a tow hitch option with a 2,500-pound (1,134-kilogram) pulling capacity, giving the versatile machine tugger-/tow-tractor-like capability.
When slowing down, the lift reclaims regenerative braking energy from four sources. When stopped, its rubber and polyurethane wheels are augmented by powerhead-mounted stability casters and immobilized by an electromagnetic parking brake.

The new OSQs are available to order, according to the manufacturer. You’ll find hundreds of new and used Clark lifts for sale every day on LiftsToday.com.
