Skyjack SJ16 Performs Facility Maintenance On The Tallest Building In Taiwan

The famed Taipei 101, once the world’s tallest building, towers above the Taiwan skyline with its 101 floors. And inside Taipei 101, CIG Power Products relies on Skyjack’s zero-emission SJ16 vertical mast lift to maintain the facility.

“The model’s lightweight design ensures low ground pressure and floor loading,” says CIG Power General Manager Jerry Huang. “The traversing deck increases reach and provides up-and-over capability, which helps get a variety of work done inside buildings.”

Load & Lift Specifications

The SJ16 offers a maximum lift capacity of 500 pounds (227 kilograms) and a work height of 21 feet, 7 inches (6.58 meters). The compact vertical mast lift offers an outside turning radius of just 55 inches (140 centimeters) with an overall width and length of 30.5 x 54 in. (77.5 x 137 cm). The entire machine weighs only 2,130 lbs (966 kg). “Skyjack’s SJ16 is easy to maintain, offers low cost of ownership, and meets job requirements in tight spaces—something that is especially important at crowded Taiwanese factories,” says Huang.
