Snorkel OnSite Provides Full-Service Telematics

Machine status, operational hours, physical location, and current battery charge are just a few of the critical real-time details available in Snorkel’s new OnSite telematics offering. Many current Snorkel mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers are telematics-ready and equipped with a compatible connection for the telematic module, which is powered by Trackunit.

Subscription Options

Customers have the option to order Snorkel OnSite when ordering to receive factory install, and field installation is also possible at an authorized Snorkel dealer or service center. The manufacturer offers telematics subscription options that include a Data and Dashboard package that provides a dashboard where fleet managers can see both the Snorkel machine data and products from other brands, as well as a Direct Data and API package that feed Snorkel telematics into an existing telematics dashboard. Both options are available in 24- or 60-month subscriptions, and Snorkel offers an optional RFID keypad for elevating work platforms and telehandlers equipped with OnSite.

Real-Time Support

Snorkel indicates that its global product support teams and distribution network are trained on the Trackunit platform to help accurately troubleshoot lift and telehandler issues remotely.
