Xtreme Manufacturing Unleashes Record-Breaking 'Trackzilla' XR50100-G Telehandler On The World
Xtreme Manufacturing debuted two new machines at last week’s 2023 ConExpo-Con/Agg convention in Las Vegas, including a “mega-xtreme-capacity” XR50100-G telehandler equipped with tracks and nicknamed “Trackzilla.” The company says the machine has a record-breaking maximum working height of 100 feet (30.5 meters), a forward reach of 75 ft (23 m), and a maximum lift capacity of 50,000 pounds (22,680 kilograms). Xtreme Manufacturing also unveiled its first glass lifter at the trade show. The Xtreme Glazier XR2215-GL has a two-section boom with a maximum extension of 5.4 ft (1.6 m) and a 2,200-lb (998-kg) lift capacity when retracted; it can lift 500 lbs (227 kg) when extended.
Go, Go Trackzilla
Xtreme Manufacturing says the XR50100-G resides in a category all its own, as it “smashes the limits of material-handling capabilities.” Trackzilla is the manufacturer’s first track-driven machine, and Xtreme says the telehandler can take on rough terrain with ease. The telehandler’s hydraulic cab can raise, lower, and rotate to provide the operator with 360-degree visibility of the jobsite. The cab is also equipped with a suspension seat, rear backup camera, and multifunction display in the cab. Available cab options include open, enclosed with heat, and enclosed with heat and air conditioning.
The telehandler is powered by a Cummins 15-liter diesel engine rated for 675 horsepower (503 kilowatts) at 2,100 rpm. The XR50100-G also has a Linde hydrostat transmission, extending front and rear axles, rear axle stabilization, and a hydraulic flow rate of 165 gallons (625 L) per minute. It holds 300 gal (1,136 L) of fuel. Customers can add such options as a flashing amber strobe light, LED boom work lights, special paint, fork tines, and a 6-ft (1.8-m) jib.
