    About Haulotte

Construction equipment manufacturer Haulotte was founded in 1924 in Lyon, France. In 1979, Haulotte began collaborating with Pinguely, a former steam locomotive manufacturer that had transitioned to building steam shovels and then cranes, on the TTR 220 crane. In subsequent years, Haulotte developed its first aerial work platform, the H46N, followed by H76 platforms in 1992. The cooperative work eventually led to a merger of the two firms in 1995, and in 1998 they went public as Pinguely-Haulotte. Seven years later, the company name was changed to the Haulotte Group.
