Used Forklift Inventory Rises For 8th Month In A Row In September
The new Sandhills Global market report covering September data for used lift equipment on LiftsToday.com and other Sandhills platforms shows used forklift inventory levels continuing a long upward trend while asking and auction values have seen slight declines.
In September, used forklifts displayed sharp inventory increases of 4.95% month-over-month and 28.92% year-over-year, along with auction value decreases of 2.87% M/M and 4.79% YOY. Used pneumatic-tire forklifts were a driving force behind both trends.
According to Matt Sterup, “Even with a sustained 8-month increase in used forklift inventory, asking values have shown little movement,” says Sales Manager Matt Sterup.
